The following information has been prepared by the curriculum office of SAU 39. As the Director of Curriculum and Professional Development, I, Christina Landwehrle, will be posting information over the next few months regarding our assessment results with additional links for more information. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions at clandwehrle@sprise.com.

This first blog post is on our NWEA Measures of Academic Progress assessment results. I look forward to sharing information about our assessments and results over the coming months.

NWEA Measures of Academic Progress

The NWEA Measures of Academic Progress assessment is a standardized assessment given to our students each year in grades K–10 that is used to measure and monitor student growth and progress. This computer-adaptive assessment establishes a student’s instructional level and identifies areas of focus for growth.

For more information on the NWEA MAP assessment, you can access the parent toolkit here: https://www.nwea.org/content/uploads/2011/07/A-Parents-Guide-to-MAP-.pdf.
