My name is Dylan Morneau. I am a senior at Souhegan High School and a Mont Vernon resident. I have always been fascinated by the stars, so when I got into photography the first thing I wanted to learn was how to photograph the night sky. While searching how to accomplish this, I came across these pictures known as star trails which I just needed to try for myself.
I went out on a camping trip and set up my tent on the top of a hill with the treeline in the background. I then set up my camera to take pictures one after the other throughout the night. Later, I layered 60 in a row to show the rotation of the stars throughout the night, which created the streaking effect across the sky.
