Kindergarteners at the Clark School were mesmerized in March by their new, live alligator friend during a session presented by Wildlife Encounters.
Students were introduced to animal ambassadors that included a snake, chinchilla, porcupine, three-banded armadillo, giant African bullfrog, and American alligator.
Wildlife Encounters is staffed by professional educators and public speakers. They specialize in educating youth and the public on a wide variety of environmental, animal, and personal health and wellness topics. The teaching animals are all non-releasable wildlife because of injury, legal situations, or being born in captivity.
A special thanks to the Amherst PTA for sponsoring this event! For more information on Wildlife Encounters, check out their website: http://www.wildlifeencountersnh.com/.
