Superintendent Peter Warburton was presented with the New Hampshire Art Educators’ Association Outstanding Service Award on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the New Hampshire Art Educators’ Association annual conference held at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester.

Peter’s support of the arts is evident in the districts of SAU 39. He showcases performing arts every August at the SAU 39 District meeting. He attends plays and music events regularly. While visiting classrooms, he notices and comments on visual art displays.

Peter has supported the Amherst Library Art Show for the past 5 years by displaying the top honors from the show in the SAU 39 Lobby each summer and hosting an artist/family reception. The SAU 39 office has a permanent gallery consisting of one student artist piece from each of the past 5 years.

All of the SAU 39 Art Educators attended the NHAEA annual conference and were onstage to honor Peter as he received his award.

It is with heartfelt thanks that SAU 39 staff and students congratulate Peter for his outstanding service.
